Sugar Rose is an advocate for PTSD Mental health and suicide awareness. She also supports veterans, 1st responders, and anyone struggling with mental health. We all have a purpose here and through trials and tribulations and a long story it has brought Sugar Rose to become a motivational speaker/singer/songwriter with the drive to make a movement and a difference to save and change one person's life at a time. Recently joined with The Peoples Patriot Project, Sugar Rose has been given the opportunity to speak to the world through her new Motivational Mondays show. What are your favorite lyrics from your latest single? You crashed through my wall had up for so damn long you aint a wrecking ball you're more like solid rock. You rolled into my life like an old 90s. song I can't get you outta my head gonna put that record on. What kind of pull did you feel about making the single? One time in your life you find someone that hits your soul and gives you butterflies. Whether an amazing friend or someone that just speaks to your heart in a way you never thought could happen. Are all your writing sessions collaborative or do you go off on your own? Do you have a preference? I do have some that are collaborative. I love to get ideas and thoughts and connections from others. I also feel led to write certain songs and those are solo. Do you ever compare the work you bring to the table? No, I feel the songs come from my heart to help someone. Whether it helps 1 or 1 million I’m doing what I feel led to do. What is standard practice when it comes to if the song is really finished? I get a feeling. Just a sense of comfort. What was the goal for making the latest track? Bringing back hope, love and positivity to a world that is struggling to say unconditional LOVE still exists. Sending a message of love isn’t dead whether it’s a best friend or amazing relationship. There is always beauty after pain and you can heal and find someone to make you whole again. Challenges to the new music that no one would know about? The lyrics hit me in the middle of the night. I have to wake up and write them or I'll lose them. Favorite memory in the making of this music? How it hits my heart and soul the connection I get when it reaches someone else and helps change, save,bring light , hope and positivity to their life. Is there anything off the table when it comes to bringing yourselves into your music? No not at this time Leave us on a high note! And share some good news! I'm led here to change, save and bring light and positivity to everyone that needs it! Through motivational speaking, singing and writing. We are all here to love one another and lift eachother up!
