What are your favorite lyrics from your latest single? "Just show me where it hurts, I swear I'll make it worse" What kind of pull did you feel about making the single? The song is about freeing yourself from a bad/toxic relationship. I sort of lean into whatever emotion the song pulls from me initially. Are all your writing sessions collaborative or do you go off on your own? Do you have a preference? We generally write as a band. Sometimes myself or John will have a riff or an idea and then we just build off it. Do you ever compare the work you bring to the table? The only thing we compare ourselves to is our work. We don't really concern ourselves with other bands or anything like that. What is standard practice when it comes to if the song is really finished? That's always a weird question with a boring answer, you just kind of know. Like most things, it's a feeling. What was the goal for making the latest track? To make something that people would connect with and want to put on repeat. Challenges to the new music that no one would know about? You always wanna grow and mature with each new song but without losing whatever it is that makes your sound. Favorite memory in the making of this music? This song was actually put together from 3 different songs we were working on at the same time. We couldn't really make any headway with them and one day just sort of combined the best parts and slapped 'em together. Is there anything off the table when it comes to bringing yourselves into your music? We just do what we want. It's pretty simple. Leave us on a high note! And share some good news!
