Get to Know Joey Stuckey!
Hi Joey! It is great to talk to you today! My pleasure! I am going to ask you some questions for our readers to get to know you a bit better! Sounds good. Summer or winter? I like both for different reasons. For example, I love Christmas and the holiday season. I even have a Christmas EP called “A Santa That Plays Guitar”. However, I also love the beach and am not a fan of a winter beach—too cold. LOL. I also love to hear the birds outside my window and they are more active in Spring and Summer time, so If I had to have only one, I guess I would say Summer, but I do love both! Pancakes or waffles? Again, I am a man that loves options, so I like both, but if I only could have one I would have to go with Blueberry Pancakes! What is your favorite thing to do to balance or center yourself? A good shower always clears my mind. Also listening to very complex jazz helps me focus my mind away from stress etc. I am actually a blind brain tumor survivor and have chronic fatigue and pain from a lot of trauma I have gone through with my health. I use music daily to shift my mind’s focus from discomfort to a place of peace. I also love a good joke, and when I say good joke, I mean a really bad one LOL. Who is your favorite artist to listen to when you need some inspiration? That changes daily, but I always find inspiration from the Beatles and the Smiths! However, right now I am obsessed with White Dress from Lana Del Rey! Where is one place you dream of travelling? To Egypt to visit the pyramids! I also wouldn’t say know to Marbella! What is your favorite part of being an artist? Touring to meet new people and see new places.
